As the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia has determined that certain COVID restrictions may be lifted or relaxed, Southside Eye Care has responded with the following:
We continue to approach all health care services with caution.
First
We will continue to be extra cautious about cleaning and sanitizing our high traffic spaces and frequently touched areas/items.
Second
Per the CDC at this time, we are in a low transmission area. Masks are now optional for patients.
Third
We have modified our waiting area and our scheduling in order to provide better distancing.
Fourth
Our Optical Shoppe is offering personalized appointments in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Walk-ins are still available.
Last (but not least)
We are asking that you call and reschedule non-emergent appointments if you or any of your household has a cough, fever, or difficulty breathing.
